Casio GW-M5600-1ER Wave Ceptor Radio Controlled G-SHOCK Mens Digital Resin Watch July 23, 2010 alan oke (New York, NY) First rate, practical watch. Does exactly what I want in terms of accurate time keeping and no-nonsense design.
A timeless classic July 19, 2010 Perry Stalsis What can I say, I've owned G-Shock watches before and they've all been chunky 'Action-Man' style. This is understated retro. I happily wear it at work and during evenings and weekends. Apart from the style, the watch's features make it worth the money. The solar power and remote timing are a god send - you don't have to do any admin, changing batteries, daylight saving time etc. etc. Plus it's cheaper here than anywhere else. A must buy if you want a rugged but not overstated watch for work or pleasure.
Everything I expected July 19, 2010 Morten Jacobsen (Odense Sÿ, Denmark) It is everything I expected, no more no less.
However at price more than 50% lower than the retail price in DK.
Does What it is supposed to. July 11, 2010 David Harris Bought this on a whim to have a tough waterproof watch for holidays around the world that I could wear all the time. I liked the idea of no battery and the accuracy of the radio signals. This was perfect. It is quite retro, looks manly and can be worn and forgotten until you need the time. It has more features than I need and has proved to be tough and durable on my holiday to California where the temperature reached 110 fahrenheit and North Carolina where it was 95+ and humid. In the sun or in the water it has worked perfectly. I did not take it off my wrist at night to receive the signals as instructed but it received them anyway. My first G-Shock watch and I am very pleased with it.
Forced to be American July 10, 2010 R. Haylock (UK) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
This watch works well, the instructions are clear. But why is the date in the illogical American format? This watch has so many functions you can change most things but not this. Even Microsoft doesn't force the American system on non-Americans. There are far more people in Europe who use the d.m.y system. So two stars where I would give it five otherwise.
