Product Description For complete blackout, there must be no gaps where light could enter. This easy to use kit provides complete blackout.
Contains lightweight flexible PLASTIC light-proof sheets which can be attached to windows (glass or frame) using the double sided tape included (50m roll included). One side of the tape has a re-positionable adhesive, so that the blackout can be attached and removed a number of times. Once the re-positionable side looses its 'stickiness', it can be replaced from the 50m roll of tape inlcuded. PLEASE PLEASE note that this product is not suitable for use on porous surfaces such as painted walls or wallpaper. It is intended for use on glass or upvc window frames. It is intended as a temporary and highly effective blackout solution.

not quite right September 5, 2010 Robyn Simpson (Jersey) They sent two sheets but would be better if they sont one big one and you could cut to size as they were about an inch off the size of my window and so the light came in. Ended up making a proper black out curtain and pole that was much better.
the tape needs to be replaced constantly August 2, 2010 natalia I bought his black out blinds as I currently live in Dubai and the sun is rised by 5am.
They are ok to put onto the windows but the tape loose its grip all the time, therefore you need to be replacing it all the time.
Too expensive for the constant effort you have to do.
not too bad July 10, 2010 J. B. Edwards (UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought these as my daughter was taking nearly an hour every night to drop off to sleep - now its less than 5 minutes and its still the same a month on! The 'blinds' are plastic sheets and need to be cut to size, I just did a rough cut and stick job, just a few minutes to put up, and its completely black. I have decided to leave the blinds up, Im not sure they would keep sticking up night after night without new tape, and it would be a bit of a pain getting them down every morning. They dont look too bad from the outside either, and help keep the temperature down. Not bad for the money.
Not so good July 4, 2010 Elsa Herve (Coventry, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Difficult to use for my daughter'room.
roll of double sided re-positionable tape is not good quality.
You can not remove it every day or week.
Could be ok for holidays if you want a dark room but not convinent for our house.
Loved it June 20, 2010 Not Pepys (London) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Thick, BIG sheets of plastic with sticky tape. They covered the enormous windows at my parents house and work brilliantly. We did find that the tape won't stick to stone (but then very little sticks to stone as it is crumbly), and as a previous reviewer mentions, the tape isn't really reusable, but as the roll is huge this isn't an issue.
