10 Year Veteran November 13, 2008 B. Young (Hampshire, England) I have used the Philips Sonicare range for more than 10 years and have been very happy to have that dentist feel every time. Yes, the newer heads are thinner, that's called 'research and development'. The new, smaller head means you can easily reach all teeth, including back ones. Remember, you don't apply tons of pressure with any electric toothbrush, so although this one is leaner, it doesnt mean it will break easily, it won't. I totally ignore the beep noise telling you 30 seconds has passed, the longer you use it the more benefit you'll get. I use mine for 4 minutes, then rinse mouth 3 times with water. Leave as much fluid as you feel comfortable with in your mouth as this is the whole point of sonic waves, it passes through the liquid. I'm 39 years old and have no fillings or dental work of any kind. I eat what I like and know this toothbrush will save the day. I floss every few days and use mouth wash once a week, I also take Q10 supplements #60 mg a day# which has been proven to help gum disease. Another reviewer here said 'shouldn't, instead of doesn't', this tells me this person has never used it before. Correct me if I'm wrong please.
Does the job! October 11, 2008 Alison Colvill (Tunbridge Wells, Kent, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I disagree with the review somone has left regarding this product. I have used a Sonicare toothbrush for a few years now, and as a result never need to see the hygienist at the denists. No scale build-up, thanks to Sonicare. I used a previous model, which used larger heads, and when that failed, purchased a new model. I find the slimmer handle of the head good to reach the 'difficult to reach' places, and they have continued to do as good a job as earlier models. I don't regret my purchase of a Sonicare, it has saved me a fortune in dentist bills!
Not value for money September 12, 2008 Pursuing justice (England) 3 out of 8 found this review helpful
Not value for money - too thin and soft, wouldn't do the job as you expected.
